Runnig "rich" will over time hurt your engine. It will also hinder performance. You'll get fouled plugs which leads to cabon build up all along the combustion route and on it goes.
wouldn't you not have to worry about fould plugs if you were running and ignition system and iridium plugs?Runnig "rich" will over time hurt your engine. It will also hinder performance. You'll get fouled plugs which leads to cabon build up all along the combustion route and on it goes.
doesnt our cars run a little lean from the factory though? I know its not right in the middle. I don't think running no cat causes carbon buildup at your muffler tip which is what I've seen from cars running in the upper part of the air/fuel ratios.
