Release Bearing Question

so im installing the clutch right now, and i got everything done then i went to put in the new release bearing but it wont fit. the tabs are way to wide, almost 1/4 inch wider then stock. would there be any downfall to using the stock release bearing? thanks

none really (except if it is damaged)... i've re-used mine a couple of times

ok thanks man!! im hoping to have it running today. it still spins fine but not as freely as the new one
