Why would I do that? One of the sensors is bad. That's all. We are getting the ELM or Mobydic this month to monitor the sensors and see what the exact issue is. I called Southwest Hyundai and they looked up the car and it's information for when it came in to their shop. Nothing was done to it. They said they did a OBD II scan, looked under the hood, under the dash, saw the wiring all messed up, partially repaired some of it, and that's it.

The guy who said they did all that other stuff no longer works there, and obviously lied his ass off.

No problem. Wiring is 98% repaired, now we just need to monitor the sensors.

We allready are about 90% sure we know what it is. I was getting a CEL for the first O2 sensor right before this happened, that it was out of it's efficiency level or something. This coupled with the HUGE CRACK IN THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD are making it not get a good reading at idle, and it's flooding the engine and killing it. Hence the dripping from the tailpipe.

Funny that you posted mang. Random just emailed me the other day and found his ELM/MobyDic and is sending it to me. We should be able to find out what sensor is all gay this weekend if it's here in time.

Thanks bro, we've cleaned the one on there and even swapped it with another one.

VERY nice though, thanks.

Got my Carchip E/X that I bought off of here in the mail finally yesterday guys. I upgraded the firmware because the old one was OLD, upgraded the software, and this thing KICKS ASS. I'm going to try to do a run with it this weekend and see what it says. It can monitor 4 sensors at once, and logs for 300 hours.

I was just reading over your posts Redz and it reminded me of when my cousin first got the Tib that I drive now.

About 2 weeks in the CEL came on and I remember him freaking out lmao.gif That's my cousin, just freak out if you even see a CEL lol..

Anyways he had the same problem as you, wouldnt idle and generally runnnig like crap.. it turned out to be the 02 sensor..

Good luck with this.. I know how it can be when you work so hard and it keeps persisting.. it's the best feeling ever when you fix it though smile.gif

Thanks man. Yeah, we gave it to my son so hopefully we can get it running normal here soon and I can start teaching him how to drive. It's got plenty done to it so it should be fun for him. I wish my parents had given me a car.
