I was having somewhat similar problems with intermittant stalling and erratic idle with my Tib. Problem was the maf. The housing was damaged and causing the sensor to screw up. Fixed the housing, reset the ecu and the problem went away. I don't think this is your issue, but no one has suggested the maf yet.
I wish I were there to help you with the wiring. As long as I have a diagram, I can usually wire just about anything.

The issue with the maf never gave me a cel either. Oh ya, if you want to try a different ecu, Redz can try mine if you haven't sent it out yet (which I'm sure you haven't).
But Jer, if you break, you buy it wink1.gif

Why don't you borrow FOD's laptop I sent him and use the OBD2 software to find out WTF sensor is going nuts? It sure would save you a TON of time....

Use the laptop to monitor the sensors. There's a TON of old sensor logs on that laptop to give you an idea of what's "normal".

You should be able to read each sensor down the line, and figure out if the value is "normal" or not, and figure out which sensor is giving bum data and needs wiring help/needs to be replaced.

Sensors to check...in order.

MAF
TPS
Air Temp
Coolant Temp
LTFT (Long Term Fuel Trim)
STFT (Short Term Fuel Trim)
O2 #1
O2 #2
SparkAdvance

I'm sure you'll find a problem with one of those.

don't give up on her its probly a small problem.

Yup, if you read the thread, I cleaned it and it works fine still. Idle setting isn't the issue either.

Well, we DID swap it when Cysco was having the problem, but it didn't fix it. I'll try it again this week though. We DID take the MAF out and look at it and it's in perfect shape. No oil, no excess dust or other stuff.

We tried another ECU when Cysco had the car, didn't fix the problem. Since it's been so long and so much has been fixed though, I'll try it again. Faith?

Ehh, don't know what we could read with it. Talk to me here bro. I got a OBDII reader and there are no codes, but if that laptop will show us something, just tell me what I need to get and where to look.

I said somewhere earlier too that I WAS getting a CEL for the first o2 sensor before all this happened. Think I should swap that sucker or something?

How do we connect the lappy?
