I have headers 4-2-1 and downpipe...have a muffler.

What is the rest that i'm missing...cat and straight pipe?

If so, where can i get cat(wich one and where) and what kind of pipe should i get?

And at the end.. Are our exhausts bolt ons or weld ons?

thanks in advance for your patience...and professionalizm..

Get a cat off ebay to match the size of the piping you will get. If you get 2.5 inch piping, get 2.5inch inlet/outlet catalytic convertor.

To get the piping, you'll have to get it custom made, as you already got the muffler. Would be a waste to buy a catback just to hack off the muffler. Take it to an exhaust shop, they'll duplicate your stocker in the size you want. High end piping would be stainless steel, mandrel bent, probably cost you $200-400 if you can find a place to do it. Low end would be mild steel, press bent, probably cost you like $90.

Don't understand your bolt on or welded on question too well. The header will bolt to the downpipe, the downpipe will bolt to the cat/piping (you will need a flange welded on here), and the muffler will be welded onto your piping. The exhaust is attached to the underside via hangars, those aren't welded on either.

can you throw any ebay linky at me?

when i was talking to people at the muffler shop they told me that getting custom cat is a bad idea beause no one has any standards for it yet..and thgey won't be able to make sure that its not going to throw a CEL light on.

last q.. my buddy is about to open his performance shop..but he wasn't sure if hyundais' exhausts are bolt ons... his z350 is weld on..he actually has to weld his exhaust...and he can't do it at his place.

Get a CatCo. cat or something similar. You should be able to get one off ebay.

The exhaust bolts together. It is obviously in different sections: header, flange, engine-pipe, flange, cat, flange, mid-pipe, flanged or welded resonator(s), mid-pipe with bend, flange, axle-back piping & muffler.

^ Yes, that'll be fine.

I think it's the same one that I have on my car.

No, you're going to want one with an o2 bung built in after the cat.
Do a search, there's a thread I made months ago when i was going through this and redzman and some others helped me find the perfect one.

That's fine. Whoever installs your exhaust just needs to weld an O2 bung on after the cat. It'd cost less than $5 at any shop.
