Problem Tiburon On Lpg

i´m new here and i registered myself in hope that you people can help me out.
I have an hyundai coupé FX 2.0 from 1997 also called tiburon;-)
have the folowing problem;
on petrol (normal use) my car drives good, but when i switch to gas (LPG) i have some troubles;
the main issue is that when i´m driving an need to stop before a red light , i switch to neutral of course but from there on my engine starts acting strange.
it shuts down (more stuttering.. until engine dies ) like i´m going to get a backfire.
It only occurs on LPG, and this problem started after i had a backfire that blew my airbox open.
((After this backfire the lpg garage changed the sparkplugs and cables that fixed the problem.))
I changed the airhose with a brand new because there where cranks in, and placed an anti backfirevalve.
At this point i´m thinking it will be my air mass sensor and prob. my airbox wich are not in good state anymore.
But i´m not sure cause i do not know much of cars smile.gif
Could the problem i describe be indeed because of the sensor + airbox?
So yes , what kind of air sensor do i have? an oxygen sensor, an air temp. sensor or an air mass sensor?
when i look at HMAservice i cant get out of it.
iff i open my hood, it looks like this:

the only thing found there is an air temp. sensor.
but on the same site with subject maintenance i find this image:

if im correct there you see an air flow meter on the airhose.
so how do i know what kind of sensor i have to order? is the air temp sensor the only thing i need?
and when i look at open airfilters i have the choice wit or w/o sensorfor this car...

I drive cars on LPG/G3 for years now.. and have never heard of switching the lpg button to neutral (if that is what you are doing when stopping)
I used to have a tiburon on LPG G3 and it drove perfect on both LPG and petrol.. Do keep in mind to drive low rpm with LPG to keep your engine alive longer.. about 3500 rpm MAX
And drive about 50 KM weekly on petrol if you drive a lot on LPG

I seem to have expressed myself not correctly, but that is because English is not my main language
about the neutral i mean;
when i drive and need to stop on a red light i go out of gear , and put my self in neutral, when the light hits green i switch to first gear.
(so i don't put my lpg in neutral or so)
my problem occurs when i hit the break and switch my gear itself into neutral.
thanks for the hint about rpm, but mostly i keep myself indeed below that.

Depending on your location, you should have a mass air flow sensor, an air temp sensor, and a oxygen sensor, they all do different things.
if your in europe you will have a manifold absolute pressure sensor in place of a mass air flow.
I dont know the details of converting to LPG, but is your ECU still functioning? if so, does it develop CEL's with the problem?
When your on a relatively unbeaten path like this, your only chance is to consult an expert in LPG, which is hard to find here.
