Default Prices...

I need to get alittle information on an Exhaust. Currently I have a stock setup minus the resinator. I would like to go the "cheapest" way to a louder/improvement in HP. Now I can just purchase the exhaust from the axle and back correct? And also, on the 4-2-1 or 4-1 header....Do any other mod's have to be done to get the install complete? Could someone post a few url's with Shark 2k exhaust...thanks

Shark Racing headders are great, but as far as cat back you'll need to
look around, there is speedstate ( a shark racing dealer ) and others
like KORE and brullen who make full exhaust systems. You'll need the
Shark headders, a free flow cat and the cat back ( your cutting into
the cat back ) and extending the o2 sensor back

the problem you have is in:

1st off, louder doesn't mean faster...

2nd, it's better if you tell us what your limit $$$ wise is, and then we can help you better... example:

Cat-Backs & Muffler = $500-600
Headers = $300-400
Headers installation = $120-150
Intake = $240-290
TB & IM = $300+

you decide, you can go to any muffler shop and ask them to build you a cat-back, you can prolly get it for less, but remember, it's not tested and not made for cars, there's a reason why companies due tests... but your choice...

Well, couldnt I start off with just the muffler? Then do other steps down the road a bit? Also If I get the muffler first..will it fit to my stock exhaust setup? And will it be eazy to change to the rest of the new pipe when I get it?

You have to order the muffler with the inlet pipe size. If you decide to put a whole new system on it will likely come with larger pipe and then will not fit.

HP gain is also a must....So just by replacing the muffler, there is not any HP increase with it? I need a cost effective way to HP increase and also sound. As alsways HP is the most important of the two. Like I stated, if I start off with the muffler, can I continue with the piping at a later time <while in the mean time, the new muffler is mounted>

I'll reply better l8tr when I get hoe. Damn ISO9000 audit crap. (
