Why does the TB have to hoses connected on the bottom underneath the butterfly. One is entrance with coolant and one probably an exit. Is this to warm the TB? or is it to cool becasue the coolant wouldn't be cool enough to cool the TB when it passes through the head and heats up.

I just don't understand the theory behind warming the TB during the summer.

That is why everyone does the TB Bypass mod. it cools the air charge. give you maybe a 1/2hp but you know every little bit helps.

yea its easy to do a bypass, but if you are in sub zero weather conastantly keep it on because you dont want your tb stuck and you have plenty cool air comming through lmao.gif

A quick search using "bypass" under the DIY section came up with this. fing02.gif
