Piston and Rod Group Buy?
Jesus Rods (TM '01 God Industries LLC, used under license by Ross Racing Inc) are rated for 600 pounds of torque at 8000 RPM's. This gives you around, oh, 914 horsepower as your upper limit.
In my mind, in a FWD four cylinder, that would be a valid contendor for unholy power

While we're there why not look into a set of heads studs, main studs and rod bolts for us who will keep the stock rods
from what i understood 2 heads studs need to be custom made, and i do know that with a good quantity the company will give us a better deal
i'd be in for at least a set of heads studs right now

I might as well look into the ARP head studs.
Red already had a set made for him, so ARP has the specs. If we can order say 10 or 15 sets, maybe they will carry them as a regular order item for others.
I'll get started on that too.
BTW...I'm getting pistion bids from Wiesco and Ross, but for rods, I'm sticking with Crower, unless the majority wants to go with another brand of Rods.

Stay with ROSS to get the pistons. According to ONPOL and guy there named Darius knows about the specs for our cars. Thats were Onpol got his from and thats what I would like to get 0.020 OB/Pistons..ones good for spraying with. Flat pistons maybe.

Maier, where the block is concerned it would be best to fork over a little more $$$ than have the conrod stick it's head out of the block and go "Thats too much power!" Random is well-experienced and his parts selection regarding our cars IMHO has no fault. The combo mentioned above will take a beating, combine it with a set of custom sleeves(dunno about Darton's stuff, havnt met anyone wit those sleeves yet)and you're gonna be good to go for a long time to come.
