The closest one is about 15 minutes from my house, and the car shuts off after like 10 minutes if its being driven.

are you getting the good sensor?
(year, and a crank sensor, not a cam sensor)
did you remove the old o'ring in the block (often they stick there) before installing the new sensor wich usually comes with a new o'ring on it

I'm not sure what you mean by "the good sensor", but it is a crankshaft position sensor. I'll check for the old o-ring, and I'll also try again, making sure that its fully in. I did a bit of googling last night, and it seems that the new o-ring on the new sensor can keep the sensor from going all the way in, so you have to make sure its in there fully.

Ya it has to be in all the way. Even a little off and it wont start. Are you getting OEM or what brand?

Ok, I put the new sensor in the car, and this time, I made sure that sucker was in there! Its all good now cool.gif
