there is no other solenoid, the only thing that goes into the engine bay are the gas line that goes into the intake and the purge.

you mean the purge could be a problem? i wish i knew how the 2000 spec worked, but you can always check in a 97 by unplugging the tube and seeing if it's sucking air in, but i doubt you even want to mess with it and i don't know where it's located on a 2000.

Most likely it's the purge valve. That code is specific in what is wrong. I had to do this earlier.

Specifically for your issue replace the solenoid in the engine bay. Your not venting to the canister when you fill up your venting to the engine basically flooding it with gas fumes.

the evap for the 1998-2001 tiburons are in the rear next to next to the gas tank reachable from the driver's rear wheel well. it is covered by splash cover and bracket with two bolts. unscrew those two bolts and the evap system should be easy to inspect.

otherwise it's the purge that goes into the intake.

Where is this solenoid located in the engine bay? Any pics of it? Where could I order the part, what's it called? I'm having that problem as well.

So the solenoid in the engine bay, is the one next to the fuel filter? And the other one is on top of the carbon box in the back by the gas tank? are those the two solenoids? I didn't know if there was more then one solenoid in the engine bay that he could of been talking about.
