So I have read before that if you run oversize pistons, that it is recommended to use a special kind of coolant. I forgot exactly what it was I cant find the thread that I read it in, but I just wanted to be completely sure because my motor is almost complete and I dont wanna thrown in regular 50/50 because it might create hot spots on the block and leak through.

I think those people might be sniffin glue? Coolant is coolant. 40 thou over hone and bore should not have any hot spots unless it was completely butchered by a farm animal. Are those pistons dished or stock compression?

Honda guys run a specific brand of racing coolant if they can't keep the coolant around 180. Also reduces any slight temp increase that may cause knock on high boost applications.

If it runs warm, worry about it then.
