EDIT

[size=3]ok, srry i found out he has an manuel transmission, lol FYI Manual transmission cars do not have O/D, even if they have a little light for it in the guages.

Don't mind him.... laugh.gif: even when he gets a chance to help out he gets over excited. It is quite humourous to see that is comes through even in his typing.

Wow, I don't feel as dumb after all. Ok, another OD question. Why is it that is seems like it is completely missing the gear and doesn't shift FOREVER before jumping into the next gear. It revvs very high and then slams into the next one.

with overdrive on u have 4 gears, with it off u have 3, try to count how many times it changes, it also shifts at higher RPM's when u have it off so it shifts closer to redline, and why it takes so long to shift might deal with how ur pressing the pedal u gotta get a good feeling for it, u can actualy kinda help him out by pushing or releasing the pedal at the right moment to control the shifting that way, and if u drive for a short time then at first its gonna be realy sharp unsmooth change of gears, but after like 5 minuts it will be alot smoother usualy.

Kit.. I am not picking on you... but if you EVER call somebody a newb in the biggest font you can find again.. I will put a temp ban on you. While some people do deserve to be called a newb.. asking a question to something you do not know about does not warrent what you did... ok?
