Was just wondering if anyone has used one or has thought about using one. I'm thinking about getting one so I can remove the oil filter to engine bay.

Do the cooler kits relocate it?

I know HP's store has a kit by Permacool, don't know if it's cheap or not, but it looks decent.

Thats about the going rate on them. Not real sure if an oil cooler will relocate the filter or not. If so I'll just get one them can't hurt especially here in TX where it's hot as hell most of the time.

Well, the kit listed above will work.

Personally, if I do this, I'll get the 2 filter system.

HP has a remote cooler available now too.

EDIT: Main reason for doing it is to get the filter to an easier place to change, and to make room in the engine bay. Also, it will have some additional cooling effect, but not as much as a cooling kit.

The only trouble I have with my filter is located... putting the new one on. I think maybe if you lowered your car and put a pan guard on, it would be a great thing to have... Not to mention the ability to plumb an oil cooler too.
