Not sure it would be worth a GB...

Not when you can get a Greddy one on ebay for $70

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=46098

Or a cheaper one for $20

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=46098

Both of which are polished metal and both come with a sight tube to let you know how much oil is in there...

True, I would be willing to pay more (as long as col's has a sight tube) for some custom work (oz logo etc). There is something apealing about having something custom that only a couple of people have even if it is just a catch can lol.gif smile.gif

"True" catch can? You do realize that the only thing that seperates those giant things from an inline seperator is a brand name and a bigger container. One of those aluminum ones applies to only those pushing 250whp or more on a turbocharged or high compression (12:1 or higher) engine. There is so little oil passing through on a low PSI forced induction or bolt-on engine that the oil vapor is going to pass straight through the container, never condensing and settling. Trying to give you some advice so you don't waste your money on something that is only going to be 65% as effective and 500% more money.

I probably could make some of it... but I'm too lazy too... hell I could make intakes, intercooler piping, exhausts, etc. with the ton (literally) of pre-bent mandrel pipes my dad has laying around, but I'd rather sleep all day. smile.gif Hell I didn't even bother to make my own exhaust for the Tib, let alone sell em to you guys. I'm a self-centered lazy SOB.

Now, I got to think of something on topic before Redz pounces on me. Aluminum would be the best material to buy a catch can made out of, since it loses heat quickly and the oil would condense easier. If you do make your own, make sure you don't make your lines too long otherwise it gets clogged up in there and get all clogged. smile.gif

so you connect it to the breather hose that Im looking at right here?

can you just cut the hose and stick that inbetween or is it better to extend the hose so you can mount the catch can in a secure spot?

I would secure it to something secure. Most likly the closest spot to the IM where I could mount it to the firewall.
