Im pretty sure he was smart enough to buy an XTD from the same company who has sold them to everyone else that loves them. I know he researched it before buying and asked me about it. I feel like an ass for telling him they do ok and he gets a stock PP. Atleast the clutch looks good.

Do u happen to know what vendor he bought that from? because I just bought an XTD Stage 2 Clutch Kit and an 11lb XTD Flywheel and would like to know if its the same vendor....
I bought mine from Aimco Clutch Co. See if that rings a bell... They're a power-seller with 11,000+ transactions and 99.9% positive feedback so I figured them as a legit vendor, so I hope its not the same vendor...

BUMPITY *UPDATE
Its stock. Compared it to a stock valeo PP. Same springs, same rivets (same letter marks on the three), same diaphragm, same EVERYTHING other than the red paint.
Note: The clutch didn't die or anything. The reason it came out so early is the starter broke. Small piece of the starter fell into the PP causing the clutch to not disengage.
