definately looks stock to me.. i will look at my stock pressure plate tommorow to compare.. and that plate surely didnt come from wherever it was made looking like that. probably a crappy dealer or ebay guy thinking if they paint it people will think its aftermarket with better clamping force..
Spec stage 1 has valeo stamped on both the plate, disc, and pressure plate.
yeah, alotta aftermarket clutch companies use valeo parts..
Looks like it was painted with a spray can to be honest.
EDIT: That was before I read the bottom text where you stated the same thing. |
ok here is the real point.
http://www.diversecultures.com/wytchdctr/DSC_0005.jpg Ive heard some good about this company... then I saw the way that PP looked.... hmmm made me wonder and glad I spent a little extra for my ACT. |
LOL, thats quite sad.
thats a stocker bro. im sure as heck its an oem replacement rattle canned.
im almost thinking thats that is NOT an XTD, because i have seen some other pressure plates from the XTD kit, and they look more like the ACT but in a different color, sometimes red or blue.. but that looks like someone just sold it as a XTD, did a shitty rattle can job, and put a XTD decal on it.. if the guy who sold it to your friend bought an XTD clutch, he coulda cleaned his up and used a decal from an XTD, if they sent decals, and made that one look new and like it was an XTD..
