back up to your rant MADTIB,

I can answer the question about the 2 cats.

Not ALL tibs in the US got them, they were part of the california emissions package. they are not FEDERALLY required.

Now from the headers i've seen there may be a possibility that you could cut out a section of the lower pipe B4 the second o2 bung, weld a cat in and just shorten the (read : buy a shorter) flex pipe. But you'd prob still have to extend the wiring.

The other option is to weld something onto the second bung to close it off, and drill and weld another bung after the cat, but same as above you'll still prob have to extend the wires.

No............it's Magnaflow,with Magnaflow tip.

I think the buzzing you're talking about has to do with the flange between the header and flex pipe. This joint is very close to a shield that covers the bottom of the engine. If you don't adjust things right, that joint could be vibrating on the shield causing your buzz.I don't know this from experience, just repeating what AndyEngineer had to say about it.When my father and I did this today,he cut out a section of the shield,so that:
(a) the joint would fit correctly
(B) the header would mount up on the studs

Anyway, the joint on mine is close to the shield, but not touching.

There's a store on E-bay that sells Magnaflow mufflers. The part # is 13926 and it's $55 shipped.Oh, and this muffler is the XL model line.

EDIT

That part # is for 2.5" in/out.If you have a smaller dia, then go to their site and look for an XL muffler that has the same or close to the same physical diminesions as mine. Also, you need offset/center.
