O2 spoof.

O2 spoof.
I have a US 2002 Elantra GLS. I am looking for an O2 spoof "for offroad use only". Anyone know where I can find one or if one designed for a different car will work? Thanks for any replies.

I found this doing a search but it does not look like it will work as there are too many wires. The O2 sensor on my car has 1 wire. Still, any help would be appreciated.

Actually there is not enough wires. If your sensor is the same as the Tibs, then you should have 4 wires. They are heated sensors with:
1. o2 signal
2. ground
3. heater
4. fuel relay
You may not need the fourth for the fuel relay

I have an O2 simulator made by Casper Electronics which is avail from Summit Racing, but have yet to get it to work on my 2001 elantra. I keep getting heater malfuctions with it. And yes the 2001+ elantra's have 4 wires on 3 that are in use for the #2 O2 sensor which is where you need to hook it up. The one that is not in use is the fuel relay which is used in the #1 O2 sensor only for fuel trim. Why they hooked up 4 wires on the #2 O2 sensor I have no clue. Also what wire colors are what on this thing. Maybe I had it AFU when i wired it the first 5 or 6 times lol.
