Default O2 sensor extension question

Well i've already extended mine at the beginning of the summer and i have had a problem with a cel light that comes on after 1000-3000 mile driveing cycles. I am taking it in tommorrow since the light is on and i haven't reset it but my main question is: After you extend the o2 wires does it matter which o2 goes where. I put the first one in the 2nd spot and vice versa cause one was a bit longer. Could this be my problem.

This might belong in help...sorry if it does

Thanks
JD

well if i would do it, i would take the first one and still make it my first one. same goes for second. it seems to me that is your problem. just like on a distributar would you put #1 on #2 and 2 on 1? nope.

yeah, you need to have the right ones before and after the cat... that might save you some money at the dealership
