well after a couple months of fixing the tibs trans, and some other stuff, i finally jump started it today, and i get a louder than normal hla clicking sound, which makes me think it may not be hlas...

only thing i did even close to touching the head or valve cover was regap my plugs..

this is like a loud click click click.. almost sounds like valve tapping, but i didnt TOUCH the timing, and i didnt touch any of the engine. it took a while to start cuz fuel or anything hasnt been running thru its veins in a while.

any clues on why the hell its making this loud ticking noise?

could it be a bad exhaust seal?

The oil has probably settled down into the oilpan.

let it run for a bit, it takes a while for oil pressure to return in the head, and the valves are pretty loud before that.

well i am dumb, and a lil too paranoid.. it was my exhaust, i forgot to tighten the nuts up all the way on the manifold.. i have a couple weird small leaks.. like my oil drain plug is leaking, and its tight as an 8 year old.

i need to move one of my radiator clamps, i think i tightened it over the end, so its leaking a bit.

my stupid emanage wont connect to my dell craptop, but i also had a vacuum leak, which i fixed.. and its idling smooth as hell, ~15.5AFR, 900 rpms.

and amazingly, with the solid roll stop mounts, it barely vibrates anymore at idle.. i cant even notice it.
