No longer sad about MAP
Here's an update to what I know about the DTB for the MAP Beta.
It comes with 2 standard sized throttle bodies.
(I think they are 48mm, so the effective size of 2 of them is like 66mm.)
The intake manifold is bored to 59mm.
I have asked about extrude honing the IM and will post when I find out.

Jeez man- Way to dig up a dead post.
Well, I've pretty much got the details figured out. You have to order the DTB IM from one of RPW's distributers. SR just so happens to be one of them (email me if you want more details).
The cost to get it to your door is $650 plus a core charge. It takes them a month to produce and ship to you, but they have a month long back log right now so it will take 2 months to get the unit from the time they recieve the money. After you install it, you send back your old IM for the core charge refund.
The cost includes the modified intake manifold, two bored intake manifolds (to 58 mm), and some tubing. I don't know if the gasket surface is bored to match, I've been meaning to ask.
I am 99% sure that I will use flexable tubing on the second IM and make a 180 infront of the IM and combine the two intake tubes with a "Y" and have one common intake pipe to a filter placed in the fender well. I haven't figured out what to do about my bypass valve yet though.
I haven't actually ordered the unit yet because I'm still planning my mods and waiting for some insurance money. The most undecided part of my modifications will be the piggy back unit that I choose. At first I was just going to pick up an SAFC. Then I was hot and heavy for a Unichip. Now I've been leaning towards a perfect power SMT-5 and I'm pretty sure that's the way I'm going to go. It offers the most for what I'm after (user adjustable fuel and ignition timing with a laptop).
I still haven't decided against extrude honing. I think that that money would be better used for a port and polish/ 3 angle valve job. I don't think the IM will be the point of restriction after the DTB's so I'll go to work on the head. Besides, with my planned mods I think it will be justfied.
