of course you may have also just made your CAI compleatly useless. Yes, it will still bring cold air into the engine, but the computer is going to think it is HOT air the car is sucking in and mess up the mixture.

Well if you already solved your problem my first theory is discarded... and it was that maybe HE was resenting the fact of being called a SHE lol.gif (just kidding)

Really, you have found a way to avoid your engine failing at you when extremely cold but at what cost? You are probably sacrificing performance at normal operating temperature, which is where your engine is most of the time. If engine "thinks" air is hotter, then it's going to think air density is lower, thus, less grams of air, less fuel needed.
Now, considering tibs use to run rich, this could not affect your performance significantly, but only way to know is track or dyno. After you installed your CAI, did you reset your ECU? You could try returning the air temp plug into place, restart the ECU and start with engine cold, maybe that way ECU will adjust fuel amount to those conditions when cold.
Or... you could also try start calling him a HE. laugh.gif

One more question.
Did you reset your ECU after putting on the CAI?

Hrmm..?? No offense man, but they answered your question, you just need to not be so closed minded.. They said LET IT WARM UP A BIT... Thats exactly what your dad found out for you, is that its cold on startup.. Like they said above, your gonna trash your car when you jerry rig things ;/... Wait 3 minutes, and shes warm enough to drive (longer in cooler temps).. I live in Las Vegas, and even in the mornings @ 78 degrees, I let her sit for 2-3 minutes each morning, same w/ my bike.. Patience is a virtue, even though its taken me 23 years to figure that one out ;/

try getting your engine flushed. it's usually under $100.

if that doesn't work. ah well, engine flushes should be done every now and then either way. your valves might be clogged therefore everytime you use power, there is insufficient gasolene going into your engine which could be causing the stalling problems when your AC is used.

they can run a diagnostics test, inspection, and check up.

there's probably a clog.

try replacing your filter if it's dirty. or checking if it's dirty. a clogged filter can sufficate your engine.

also, you might have a tranny problem. i doubt that if it has no "check engine" sign.

try getting a diagnostic done at the dealer. it will cost you money but whatever helps.

Do you have any modifications at ALL?

Removing your stock Airbox if you haven't will improve the issue some.
