Yes they will work for your car.. Yes you will need to retune your computer or get safc2 because of the added air/fuel the cam allows in.. You will probably wanna get some headwork done, along w/ either the airram intake mani, or a p&p intake mani w/ larger throttle body.. If you dont do that, what will the cams do? laugh.gif
And no offense man, but try to re-read your post before you post it so we dont have to read through it twice to understand it laugh.gif
Not to hijack, but its ontopic w/ these cams.. They only list duration.. Do these cams have diff lobe centers or different lift than stock or just duration? If its just duration, I see these cams as being wayyyy overpriced for what they will provide.. Just my 2 cents..

Re: Sounding different
Sorry bout that.
Whats a safc2? I was planning on getting an intake put on along with a full exuast system, never thought about the manifold.
Don't know, I will have too look into that.
Can any one recommend some cams?

Well I've heard ALOT of bad stuff about sharkracing's stuff, as for Catcams I haven't been able to find anything on them. Got any links?

Re: Installed intrax today :)
i was looking at those too. $300? jeez, just for cams.
so you need to adjust your ECU when you put the cams in?
the safc2's. where do those go? and where can you buy them? which one is the better alternative?

S-AFC II is the name of a particular controller, made by Apex-i. Here's one I found on eBay : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...ssPageName=WDVW .
As for where you can put it, you can put it anywhere you want. The most popular place is in the glove box, since you want to keep out of the sight of thieves.
Oh, and it would definitely be easier to just get the s-afc II. ECU modding isn't easy.

Re: Revving at a complete stop?
Any one know the lift and duration of the Cat cams? And how much of a gain of horse power I would get if i got them with a CAI and full exuast with 2 1/4" piping all the way back.
