Hey guys,

Im in the middle of trying to change my clutch but the trans wont slide off the engine. We have about half an inch of clearance between the two but it wont come the rest of the way off. We have tried using crowbars to pry it off but it just aint working. Any suggestions? Or has anyone had this problem before?

Thanks

Rotate the release lever to release the bearing. It's the lever on the top of the transmission. It holds everyone up the first time.

That would be, rotate the lever AFTER you unbolt the slave cylinder from it. Or just unbolt the release lever.

It will NOT come apart until you let the release lever go.
