No sir. That is a oil pressure switch.

The temp sensor is located next to the temp sender near the mid/top right hand side of the engine as seen from the front of the car.

dtn is that a clip? it looks just like the clip on my electronic idle switch on my throttle body. it must be connected to a sensor which sends an electric impulse to the computer. the cranshaft position sensor is just under it.

Yeah, it's a clip that goes to the oil pressure switch. HMAService.com has a picture of a V6 instead of a I4 engine so I was not able to identify by location. The sensor looks the same, it screws into the block and it has a funky 16 edge design to it where 8 of the edges are smaller then the others.
