^^^ its supposed to keep the TB cooler. Therefore lowering the temps of incoming air. Cooler Air + more fuel = more power. Its probably only like a .5hp to 2hp tops gain.....so while you didn't feel anything, you still prob got a gain.
Im very surprised no one else said this.......But front, rear and center bars will make a HUGE, IMMEDIATELY noticeable difference. And you can get all three for about the same price as a BBTB.
