The tranny of an FWD Eclipse fit the 1G Tiburon?? What I need exactly is to know if the LSD from a 2G Eclipse is the same as the 1G tiburon....

I need to know this because searching from options for an LSD, I found this...

That is almost a third of the price of a quiafe lsd. I wonder what the quality is like? Think it could hold up to 400+ whp?

Being that it IS obx, I have my doubts.

ive never had a problem with obx...

while it is a third of the price though you will still pay the same amount for labor to install it

so if its a pile of crap

then you will paying alot of money to replace the pile of crap

I wouldn't pay anything for labor seeing that I would do it myself. smile.gif

take it from someone that has installed a true LSD, its not that easy, well its not hard, but its a pain to take apart the trans, and keep everything orginized. give yourself a full day with just installing the lsd, not including the trans removal.

truefully this is one of the only things i would recommend having a shop do. its easier for me to rebuild a motor truefully.
