Okay, I really don't want to buy a laptop, as I have next to NO need for one, and will eventually have a carPC in my car (CHRIS, GET BUSY YOU BASTARD!), so I'm looking for alternatives to do some basic tuning and logging on my phone.

Yes, my phone.

I have a T-Mobile Dash (smartphone) with a 2 gig micro SD card on it (upgrading to a 8GB). It's non touchscreen and running WM6, which means it's WM6 Standard edition.

I'm trying to find some info if there is a version of Megatune, Megalog, whatever, to install on my phone.

I know I'll need a serial to USB adapter, and I'm fine with that, they aren't hard to find, but can anyone help me find out about the software side?

BTW, here's some links I've found while looking tonight.

I would buy a cheap 200$ laptop from the late 90's or early 2000's.

Trying to tune with a cell phone is a PITA. You'll realize that if you carry forward with the plan. A cheap used laptop will save you a lot of time and anger. You'll get annoyed real fast.

If you don't want to go that route, at least try a PDA first. Even that becomes a pita LOL.

I think I can use this to log data if I put a serial/bluetooth adapter on my MS.

Tanc, thanks for your post, but as I said, I've got no need for a laptop and don't need one.

I also don't need a PDA, that would be a downgrade from my phone.

I'm finding some stuff, I just know that everyone searches different, and has different resources, figured someone can find stuff with me.

I'm not as concerned with TUNING, but logging would be very nice.

Like here.

I can use this to run Palm software on my phone, and use Palmtune to tune/log. I'm just looking for something better to do it with my phone.

Some more sites and info.

Bluetooth your MS to your Laptop. I wonder if I could log with this...

allows you to log data from many sources on a PDA/WM phone.
