transmission rebuild is almost complete, but I'm kinda stuck on the following.

According to the shop manual and hmaservice, the end-play of the input shaft, output shaft and diff are measured using solder (or plastigage).

http://www.hmaservice.com/viewer/content.a...19077%5Eshop%24

Step 16, it doesnt actually show where to measure the end-play.

Question is:

Do I

A) measure end-play between the back of the outer race and the tranny case where the actual shim goes (or opposite end of shaft, clutch housing side)
or
B) measure end-play between inside of outer race and the roller bearings

Thanks!
