Default Making a scoop behind the font emblem (grill)

I want to make a scoop from behine my hyundai emblem on my front bumper to lead into the inlet, because I have an HVE intake. I am also thinking of enlongating the inlet as well so that more air can get to it...anyone have any ideas on how I can make a scoop?

Isn't the radiator and fans in the way? I don't think there is any way around it in that area unless you use the highbeam hole.

no no no...its the little space behind them eblem, just behind the grill there, its where feeds the little inlet to the intake...

go take a look at it and see if you can see what I am talking about...

I had a performance tech point it out to me once when he was checking out my engine compartment...

Just try to see the construction of the NA F2 Racing Tiburon scoop..I think these guys have made two holes/grills left and right of hyundais emblem and they have fit a huge scoop with a little filter inside under hood.BTW i think that tib makes 250hp N-A if i am correct

I was looking at doing this before I got my new intake setup. basically you get some aluminum flashing from your local hardware store like home depot or lowes etc. make a box that smoothly directs the air from the upper grill into the opening for the upper radiator support. you can open that hole up larger just take out the plastic piece and elongate the hole with a dremel cutoff tool or a hacksaw. just make sure you file/sand the metal around the hole then paint it. I would think this would definately increase the effectiveness of your hve intake. How do you like it anyway? I was looking into that intake but ended up making my own for free.

yeah that's a good idea

but will i, enlarging the stock hole that redirect air to the snorkle compromise structural rigidity?
