Damn. I heard about the airation that the lucas oil causes, but to actually see it is another story. I'm glad I just changed my gear oil from MT 90 and lucas to pure Royal Purple (which is the sh!t by the way). My trans shifts way better with just Royal Purple than it ever did with just MT 90 or with the MT 90/Lucas mix.

Got a speed shop to order it for me. You will probably have no luck finding it at a regular auto parts store (western auto carries it sometimes). Your best bet would be to find a speed shop or something and get them to order it for you (or look on the internet). Keep in mind though that it is around $11 a quart and you will need 3 quarts because our manual trans's hold about 2 1/4 quarts. But it is WELL worth it, and like I said I had the MT 90 and this stuff is better. I highly recommend it. fing02.gif

This has been covered a lot. All by the same source (bobistheoilguy).

There is no doubt that your tranny will shift better with the Royal Purple. I was actually suprised how much smoother the shifts are, and second gear doesn't grind as much anymore when I shift it fast. Although I haven't had the oil in that long, just put it in today at school. But from what I have felt so far, that stuff rocks! smile.gif
