yes more info please and is the kazz just as good as like the quaife or the mantec is it good at all and the mantec a disk type also from kspec so wouldnt you have to change the disk onit every 15k also and is that true do you really have to do that
are you serious .... i just explained the differences halfway down the first page
deest .... i cant even understand your last post 8O
and yes with the disk type lsd's you do have to do regularly scheduled maintence on them, changing fluids and disks. i dont know how often to change the disks, but argawal said 12-15k
i personally dont wanna have to change my tranny fluid everytime i change my oil, nor do i want to pull out my tranny every 15k, no thanks

Where did you get this? I have never heard anyone saying that. I would agree if it was for use in a race car but for the use that most people do of their cars, I don't think maintenance is every 15k.
Well, it depends on a lot of factors, like the locking % used (because the Kaaz is customizable) and how the car is used.
To give an example, some of the Key Motorsports cars (former Hyundai rally cars) used the Kaaz, and did only 5000km (km... not miles) before needing a rebuild. Of course, for a street car, it's safe to assume that you'll be able to do 2-5 times that before needing a rebuild.
But the Kaaz is certainly not "maintenance free". It IS a very good LSD however wink1.gif
