Default "Like stealing candy from a baby..."

Alright, there's a really small dealership near my house, a few blocks away in fact. The owner only puts cars that have been in accidents in is compound, I am not sure if they're write-offs or not. I pass by it once in a while on my way to one of my buddy's house. Recently I noticed that in this compound there sits a 2002 Elantra GT. What I'm curious to know is if I should consider trying to get the guy to sell me the car. I don't know how much it will cost to fix it, but there is severe damage to the front driver side of the car. Another option I was thinking about was the engine swap... How much of the physical components have to be switched over in order for the Elantra engine to function properly???

Peace.

You're most likely looking into a car thats under a *salvage title.* If you're gonna use the car for parts or just by yourself, by all means its a great deal but further down the road if you would like to sell it, good luck getting a decent price. Reasons? 1: Its a Hyundai. 2: Its got a salvage title.

I don't know how damaged the car is to get a good estimate but usually, there WILL be an estimate how much it will take to repair it(its not close usually but gives you a good rough estimate). If its a good deal, I'd rather part it out.
