Hey guys!
Just wanted to let you guys know that i just finsihed installing my Koyo Performance Aluminum Rad in my 97 Tiburon and looks awsome.
I just got back from my friends shop and it just fits perfect because its made for the 03 Tiburons........
I beleive its also listed for the 2001 Tibs as well !!!!!!!!!
The ONLY thing which you might HAVE to slightly mod is the upper inlet to where the radhose connects to..
The opening of the upper rad inlet on the Koyo rad comapred to OEM was off by about 1 inch but you can easily Play around with the hose or add a 90 degree bent elbow using another Rad hose...
I will be finishing the install next week on the rad and take some pics.

REDZ!!
I recall you wanted some input on fitment issues a while ago but i just got on the project for this year
Hope this helps

Awesome, so it fit the stock mounts? The hose just has to be adjusted some?

How much thicker is the core over the stock core? (Fins only)

In my case, I'm actually thinking of getting a really thick half core like the Hondas. And then putting a single FAL fan on it. That way I can keep the radiator away from the turbo and give it more room.

/\

If you go with a half size readiator.. remember to blank off the opening where the radiator used to be, or all the air will rush AROUND the half sized radiator and not do any cooling at all.

Why? We knew they fit, several RD's have them in there, just trying to find out what the EXACT mounting differences are.
