Intakes??? THE BEST
The BOMZ is a pretty crappy intake but it is cheap and has the part that the AEM does not. I have the AEM and probably wouldn't really recommend the BOMZ, but if you want cheap and at least a little better than stock go for it. I would just buy it for the metal elbow.

No offence man but are you a idiot or what?
AEM does the design, the fitting, the flow testing, and the dynoing of it's intakes. Companies like Bomz and RS Akimoto buy one of the same intake and get it copied. The Boms and AEN (AEM Rippoff on Ebay) intakes are 2 piece intakes and fit like crap. The finished quality is crap, usually the filter included with it is crap. The seam at the junction between the 2 parts moves and is not airtight, letting in dust. That seam also makes the air more turbulant and affects your power. The pipes are all made at the same factory (Injen, AEM, even SR was getting theirs made there till they found out they'd be high quality lol.gif ) because there aren't many factorys that can do that quality mandrel work, in that QUANTITY in any short amount of time.
We've said before that there are AEM copy's out there that folks can get and get similar gains out of, but if you are a SHOW AND GO guy like most of us, name brands count for points.
Go to a show with a AEN intake and get laughed at. It's your own fault. AEM isn't even the EXPENSIVE brand there my young but impressionable 2ner, INJEN's are up to 2 times more and have less HP gains from them.
Next, the AOS is NOT exactly like the AEM, you must be blind. The AOS puts the filter under the battery, sucking in hot engine air. The AEM (As shown in the pics below) puts it in front of the engine bay, sucking in COLD air from outside the car.
As for your BS statements on HP, you are also owned with the links at the bottom.
Search, read, learn, and get some damned glasses.

No, AEM now makes/sells their own filter, so it is an AEM filter. It is similar in design/construction to the K&N FilterWhat Kind of Filter comes with the AEM CAI?
