Default Intake Inquiry
Hey... do you Tiburon guys have a relatively inexpensive aftermarket intake? Can someone gimme a pic of the 2.0 (stock or other wise). I'm just curious if maybe I could use one on my 2.2L Cav.

Shark Racing Forum... Shark, as in the English translation of the Spanish word Tiburon? All I am asking is to see a Tib intake set up, so I can compare it to mine. I just wanna see how similar the two engines are.

You would be better of going to your local hardware store and buying some PVC pipe for cheep. That way you can custom bent your pipes to see what you need. THEN take that set up to your performance shop and see if they have a pipe with similar bends. IF they do great. You will only spend about $10 on the PVC pipes, so no hugh lose there

Yeah... I know I could go that route tib69... just wanting to see if I can get something with a polished blue finish. I'm into the show as much as the go.

From looking at your engine compartment, and looking at our engine compartment, I can pretty much tell you nothing is going to fit both cars/engines.

I agree though... nothing's gonna swap over. And how did you see my engine bay? Did I send it or link to it? I'm a bit scatterbrained today...

BTW... that strut brace looks like it WOULD fit! <eg> How long is it from tower to tower?

Someone else posted up some Cav/Sfire engine bay pics. I've got a spare Front brace in my garage. I'll measure it for ya and post up here later today (tuesday)

Spare strut brace eh. Man... I need to run out and measure my tower to tower.

I'll kick some arse at Autocross when I get my suspension tightened up. I have a 1.5" drop from some Eibachs.... they helped a lot.
