If you auto cross, I reccomend a rear brace before a front brace. At least on the Tiburons, the front brace makes your front end plow more.
With only the rear brace on, it helps the rear swing around.
Just my $0.02. On J-Body's it may be different.

Mmm.. good point. The front end of the J's may as well be a snow plow! It got a little worse when I put on my Eibachs.
The thing is... I do things in order of expense... the less something costs, the sooner it goes on the car! And a front strut tower brace is a little cheaper than a rear brace.
Now that I think about it... my sub box would get in the way of a rear brace. sad.gif

Damn...I got lucky then.
#1, front and rear braces are within 5 or 10 bucks of eachother.
#2. My rear brace fits with 2 amps and 2 12" in my sub box!
Me thinks you need a smaller sub box. *GRIN* Hell...make a sub box out of steel and aluminum and turn it into a stressed member between the rear strut towers! It would take some serious fabrication, and would add some serious weight, but it could help tighten up the back end.
Or just say screw it and install a rear brace then build a custom fiberglass sub enclosure around it... (damn...I'm making a lot of work for you arent I!) *grin*
What do F/R Strut tower braces run for the Jbodys?

BTW...front strut brace is 4' exact (48").
46" between the farthest bolt holes.
If you want, e-mail me @ random00@mindspring.com and I can send you photos.

Ack... I just noticed something... your strut towers are set up differently. I didn't notice that before. Mine have three bolts with two of the three being toward the engine and the third away from the engine. It kinda looks like yours is the opposite.

Ours are equally spaced. 1 parallel the plane of the strut brace. and the other 2 and 90 Degree angles. They would make a perfect triangle with 5" per side.
Hell...if there is a JBODY member in the West LA area...they can stop by my place and we can test fit it...
