Hello all,
Today I found out that my rubber intake pipe (the stock one) got ripped off. (btw i have 97' tibby)
i went to hyundai's repair shop and they told me that the open air filter that i've put on ripped it off.
so now im trying to get some information about Cold air intake because i would like to order from Ebay...
does the cold air intake makes any changes? can it harm anything?

If you're trying to replace the rubber elbow, you'll need to get a injen or a injen clone. They will not void your warranty.

you need to show pictures.

don't even think about any cold air intake in a 1997. 97's have evap cannister for emissions. you touch it consider yourself obliterated.

If you're talking about a cone filter, then you can get one at autozone. If you are talking about the rubber portion that has ridges along the outside, you will need to get that at a dealership. You should look at getting a full CAI though, it would be worth it.

The evap cannister can be relocated. In the 00-01, they relocated it to the rear of the car.

where is the canister for 97? ... and also i would recommend getting a cai, the stock one robs you of a lot of air.
