Default I know nothing about putting or getting an intake

I have read everything in the forum about exhausts/intake and want to get one. Do I need to get a intake system before I get a cone filter for it. Is this going to take someone with some knowledge to put it in or is it like a add one to something.

Help is always helpful for this kind of stuff

If you wanted, you could remove your stock airbox and resontator and install a cone filter on the end of your MAF.

It's a fairly simple modification, and you will notice an increase in noise at full throttle, and maybe a little top end HP.

Installing a CAI from there is rather easy. Both the MHP and KORE units involve cutting a plastic shield between the engine comparment and the fenderwell, but if you have a dremel, or if you are patient, and have a sharp razor blade, you can do it yourself in about an hour.

On a scale of 1 to 10, with a "1" being adding gas or topping off your fluids, "2" as changing your air filter, and "3" changing your oil and oil filter, I would rate it a "4".

It doesn't require any specialized knowledge or guru trickery.
