i want to switch from auto to manual. would the tran from a 2000 tib work. and what else would i need.

Yes it would. You would also need the shifter cables, cluth pedal and smaller brake pedal. And obviously a shifter, fluids, and you also have to rewire some stuff for reverse lights among other things. There are some DIY's on here.
