I'm up to 204,500K's and my engine only ticks when it's cold, has ever since I've owned it. Once the oil is warmed up the ticking goes away, changing oil viscosity makes no difference for me.

I'm in no rush to replace the HLA's, Im going to be doing a Turbo Beta II swap in about 6 months.

I've yet to pull the HLAs out (haven't had time) but I just checked with Hyundai over here & they're $AU45 each!

For those who have had to replace these, does that sound about right?

Kspec or any other korean distributor can get them for about 160-180USD/set of 16, shipped wink1.gif
