Well the valve cove gasket is not eternal. I also changed mine because it was leaking...after about 90 000km in 18 month of abuse...the ghasket is only about 15$ and takes a 20min to change.

Btw, a gasket is not in the engine, it is between engine parts.

What is the rev limiter at 7500 rpms? usually about 1000 over redline

I do not know what Kit is talking about reving his car to 7 grand.. the fuel cut is about 6500...

in nutral from .75rpms to 7000 it jumped made a funyn noise started shaking the car and then went down abit and still was goin of the hook, and i still have to replace the gasket thingy, its stopped leaking for now, so i guees i can go look for some corvettes or some highperformance cars again, I wish the SVT was done.!!! GRRRR!

that funny shaking noise and sound was the fuel cut at roughly 6500....

so we can't go past 6500 even when we race, autocross when you finish most people hit rev limiters right before finish

If the Tib went much over 6500 it would go kaboom... be glad it doesn't rev to 7000-7500, or Kit wouldn't have a car... well he'd have a body but no engine.
