Hey Random- Quad Throttle Body
I emailed SharkRacing Customer Service about the Quad Throttle Body, and they emailed me back saying I might be able to be the test car for it, however after emailing them back accepting their proposition they have yet to return my email, here's the message:
We havent had it isntalled here on a US car before...how mechanically inclined are you? Perhaps we could use you as the test car.

I know you guys are one of the subdealers however do you guys deal with Quad Throttle Bodies and also does it install at all well on a Hyundai Tiburon 2001 i4 AT? And what would the benefits be?
My reply was saying that if I couldn't figure it out I would bring it to a machine shop and have it professionally done, take pics, and dyno it before/after. You know why they wouldn't be replying?

The quad throttle setup is near impossible to get any additional power out of without the following..
1 - BIG cam
2 - Ported head
3 - Stand alone ECU and a very good tuner.. multi throttles a tougher to tune than a turbo car.

This is for the Hyundai Beta engines.
The Hyundai Alphas respond very well... around 50% increase... But this was with headwork, stand alone ECU (Microtech), multi throttle and a big cam. I think the 1.5 SOHC went from 70 to 105 HP at the wheels.
The heads on the Beta just do not flow well enough and in order to get good power we had to use a Haltech E6K tuned by the "HITman" to get it to make any real power. Attempts with the microtech and EMS even working with an Australian tuner had no effect... poor control and minimal gains over a standard intake manifold with similar mods.
I think 50% increase could be seen but it is not a simple affair.. Quad throttle with EVERYTHING.

Multi throttles are very difficult to tune because air flow is so sensative to TPS (throttle position)... So even if you are off just a little.... the car will stumble.
A multithrottle normally aspirated car with a huge cam is probably the most difficult to tune correctly.
That's why at the drag races, many of the multi throttle Tibby's are idling at 2000 rpms... most of them will stumble and die at anything less.
On the mechanical side... all of the throttle bodies and opening mechanisms must be exact... even if one butterfly is off a tiny bit...

What a total downer, I would have been willing to put in the money for anything needed to be bought, but if it's going to be a constant hassle, then I suppose I won't go through with it, it really got me goin' to...

Once everything is setup, it should not need to be retuned, unless you change the setup again. The setup does include a Haltec EK6, however, but "as delivered" it would only come with a base map. You would still have to have the setup tuned to your specific engine by someone who is good a EK6 tuning N/A motors.
The 4TB setup should be your LAST mod in a total N/A engine setup. You should already have the head/valve work done, headers, full exhaust, etc.
BTW...I'm not sure the 4TB setup would be a good idea for you in Alaska. In below zero conditions, it's entirely possible that the motor would not start due to the fuel not evaporating into the cold intake air stream. Also the TB's could "ice" up due to condensation freezing on the throttle butterflies.

Silly me, I just remembered I no longer live in Kotzebue, AK (Average -20F in Winter), I now live more to the SouthEast, Anchorage AK (Was -0 only like 3 days this winter) I mean yes it was still very cold, 10-20F on avg I'm guessing, would this be an "OK" temperature for the QTB? and if not, is there anyway I can like, put some kind of treatment or anything to keep the QTB from freezing over, etc.
