Thomas-the accent here is a chassis race car and now it has a full done Beta engine.If they manage to run 9.98 with a 1.5 alpha just imagine what they will run with a 2.0 Beta. I'm waiting for the engine to be balanced and bore to fit the new pistons.Also the cyl. head is getting an angle job on the valves along with copper liners,porting matching and polishing everybody will have pics of the engine work as soon i get it.MY pocket is almost empty so i will not be able to tune and dyno the car until next month.I'm consedering trying to get the car sponsored but here in PR there is not such a thing until you are already in the 9's second category smile.gif and i don't know of any aftermarket company interested in being announced in my car windshield or body.

 

Mine is still waiting for crank work. The bearings are a bitch to get in, they were ordered on Wednesday but will not be here until Tuesday (ie four days from now) I'm hoping they will have the work finished by next Friday...

If they are indeed done by Friday (not rushing them tho), Joel and I could potentially have it running by Sunday evening. Of course, we still have to deal with the Haltech to make sure it runs WELL smile.gif

Warp 10???? LOL I know the first run with the 2.0 was still in the 9's. What is the worlds record for imports anyways??? I hope they might be able to break it and put hyundai up there.
