Default Engine Management

Does anybody have some form of engine management for their Daewoo(Lanos).
Whether it be ECU, plug and play performance module, programmer, etc.
If so, could you tell me any notable power gains, installation, and
price. Also, do they void the factory warranty. Thanks.

The haltec is a complete stand alone system. It retails for between $1200 and $1600. Install would run you about another $500, and tuning would run another $500.

The Unichip is a "piggyback" ecu. it works with the stock ECU. Cost is about $800 plus another $500 to tune it. Install is fairly easy, but call it $250 if you were to pay for it.

The S-AFC is a "piggback", but I would not call it an ecu. It is more of an "ECU tricker". The S-AFC alters the air signal going into the ECU, so that the ECU dumps more or less fuel into the engine. It runs between $250 and $350, and can be installed yourself, or about $150 if you pay someone to install it.

For N/A bolt on mods, the S-AFC should be all you need. For more intense mods, or forced Induction, the Haltec, or Uni-chip would be the way to go. Just keep in mind, the uni-chip does NOT like to run larger than stock injectors.

I would like to buy something like the Venom performance module. Does anybody know if a company makes it for my car(Lanos)?
