I have a spare 1.8l ECU should I swap that and try?

It really couldn't hurt. Don't dismount the one that's in your car, just plug the other one in and jam it up into the dash so your feet don't hit it.

Ight im gonna go try some things ill be back, BTW no one told me if the Dae Sung Tps was the wose of the two.

My Tps does say Dae Sung.

My Dae Sung is hanging in there but Kefico is supposed to be the better one

Well I went for fun little drive through the park, Tested it many times form a stop. Didnt do any thing.

Gave her a run through the higher rpms, fine.


First time the proble was noticed was saturday night, didnt drive anywhere sunday, monday was fine, and today it did, so it just does it randomly.

Most likely your TPS going bad on you. If its not, it will eventually.

Idk it just didnt do it when I went for a drive. Ill plan on getting a new TPS soon.

If it was behaving w/ the new ECM, leave it in for a week and see how it goes

I had these EXACT same symptoms that drove me nuts. The TPS check... not so accurate. I tried it and it apparently checked out fine. I even used a Snap-on Modis (badass scantool) to watch my tps output, and noticed nothing unusual. I tried everything under the sun to fix it (plugs, wires, coils, fuel system service, fuel filter, etc.) , but nothing worked. I finally grew a pair and bought a TPS, and wouldn't you know it....
