^^ ya, reset the ECU, the computer has not learned the fuel trims yet. Resetting the ECU will kick it into learn mode and it should set the long-term fuel trims and timing.

I had the neg terminal off the whole time i was working on it. So I think that should have reset it... I changed my oil today. On the note of the learn mode, I installed the cam, then let my car idle for like 20-30 minutes. Since I've change it, I've driven about 30 miles. I'm shifting less than 2500rpms though for the break in though. What is a safe RPM to shift at during the break in? Or is it just about no hard accelerations?

And what kind of gains should you get? like massive throw you in your seats gain, more than intake, less than intake, what??? lol

lol, your car seems sluggish because you are driving it sluggishly. wink1.gif

its not like a clutch, there is no material that needs to be bedded or has to set. be sure everything is installed correctly, then take it for a spin.

I drove my car normally after installing the cam.

If you really want to be safe, after the "break-in period" reset the ECU again, then drive the living daylights out of it for a good 30 minutes; that should ensure the ECU is behaving aggressively enough.

So it's not going to hurt my engine if I rip through the gears a tad bit? saevil.gif
If so, I'm resetting my ECU tomorrow morning before school... cool.gif
