what the difference between

beta 1 2.0L v.s. beta 1.8L v.s. beta 2 2.0L trannies?

i'm looking for a new tranny and trying to make my pick out of the three.

if i remember right the 1.8 has a slightly different gear ratio

2.0 are the same/ i have had both in my car,

beta 1/2 2.0trannys are the same but the 1.8 beta1 has shorter gearing for 4th and 5th gear. this makes the 1.8tranny good for racing but not for long drives on the highway as the shorter gearing will have your rpm's higher than normal
