Default Headers/Exaust question

Ok now that i've bought both the GT headers from kspec and the Apexi N1 exaust what im confused on how the install is going to go. Do i just need one bung for the exaust or am i going to need one for the exaust and one for the header?

You're gonna have to put a O2 sensor in the header and one after the cat..you might have to extend your wires. other than that, you're good to go...

Yeah, basically worst case scenario you'll need to do two bungs (one in the header and one after the second (now first) cat) and rewire the second o2 sensor to go into the bung after the cat. Assuming the Apexi does not replace the second cat...

I would at least try and do the exhaust yourself and save yourself 30 bucks or so. Its like 6 bolts holding it on, and you don't need air tools for them. You will probably need air tools for the header... still you would save hundred or two hundred on the header if you went tot Wal-Mart, picked up an electrical (not air) tool and did it yourself. Then if you wanted you could return it next day. They will probably charge you 200-300 for the entire install, then like 40 for the bungs.

you wont even need the electric tool for the header just a lil elbow grease and some time i think doin it yourself is worth the money saved

Your going to need at least a breaker bar... I've tried the bolts on the heat shield with all the extensions and power I can muster when I was monkeying around. What year Elantra do you drive? If its like a 2k4, the bolts won't be hardened on there from the elements as much.

Really? I guess since mine was totaled it probably spent a lot of time in the elements and got all rusty or something. Because the bolts on mine weren't going anywhere.
